We introduce you to the tutor. After that, you and the tutor manage lessons directly. There are no hidden charges and no commission.

Agree Lessons Directly

After the first meeting, you and the tutor arrange lesson times, fees, and payments together. Tutor Chooser does not manage classes or take a cut.

Tutoring Fees

Tutors set their own hourly rates, typically ranging from AED 100–500 per hour depending on subject, experience, and qualifications. During the first consultation, you and your tutor can agree on:

    • Preferred payment method
    • Any additional terms

After this first meeting, Tutor Chooser is not involved in payments, scheduling, or ongoing communication. You manage the tutoring relationship directly with your chosen tutor.

SAFEGUARDING

All tutors on Tutor Chooser must:

    • Be UAE residents with a valid Emirates ID
    • Hold a valid Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)
    • Possess verified qualifications
    • Confirm they hold a UAE Private Tutor Licence

What if a tutor doesn’t respond to my request?

Tutors have 24 hours to reply. If they don’t, you are not charged and may request another tutor.

What if I’m unhappy after the consultation?

You’re free to book another tutor. Our team can guide you if you’d like support in finding a better match.

Do you schedule lessons or handle payments?

No - you and your tutor handle everything after the consultation. We never take a commission.

How does login and authentication work?

We use passwordless login via Memberstack. Each time you sign in, a unique six-digit code is emailed to you. Simply enter that code to access your account.

Is my personal information and payment data secure?

Yes. We use industry standard encryption and multi-factor authentication to protect all of your data and we do not store any full payment card information. All payments are securely processed via Stripe, and all accounts are authenticated through Memberstack. Your data is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
